Abstract

The Tourism industry has used Virtual Reality (VR) as a technology that makes it easier to provide an engaging experience for tourists. This research uses a systematic literature review method to explore the applications and implications of Virtual Reality (VR) in tourism, covering aspects of marketing, accessibility, and tourist experience. The search results are 13 articles selected by Prisma Chart with specified inclusion and exclusion criteria. Results show that Virtual Reality (VR) not only facilitates virtual tours and destination marketing but also enhances emotional engagement and visitor experience. However, there are challenges such as user discomfort and the need for technological advancement. This research highlights the potential for further development in the context of Virtual Reality (VR) sustainability. Technological changes are increasingly making it easier for us in various fields, especially in tourism. Virtual Reality (VR) is a technology that is used from real life to 3 Dimensions.
