# ANNOUNCEMENT: UPDATED MANUSCRIPT SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS FOR JETT 2027

Dear Authors,
The Editorial Team of the Journal of Event, Travel & Tour Management (JETT) would like to announce new manuscript submission requirements starting in 2027. These requirements will also apply to authors who submitted their manuscripts in 2026 for publication in Volume 7, Issue 1 (Issue 12) in 2027 and subsequent issues.

All authors are required to follow these guidelines when submitting their manuscripts to JETT.

1. Manuscripts Must Be Written in English
All manuscripts must be written entirely in English. Authors must ensure that their writing is clear and suitable for academic publication.
2. Use the New Manuscript Template
Authors must use the latest JETT manuscript template. Please follow the required format and structure provided by the journal.
3. Submit the Required Documents
Authors must submit the following documents along with their manuscripts:
a. Cover Letter
b. Author Agreement

Both documents must be completed and uploaded during the submission process.

4. Use Reference Management Software
Authors must use reference management software, such as Mendeley, Zotero, or EndNote, to manage citations and references.
All citations and references must follow the JETT guidelines.

5. Plagiarism and Similarity Check
The manuscript must have a similarity index below 15%.
Reference lists, properly cited quotations, and common academic expressions may be considered during the assessment, where appropriate. A similarity score below 15% does not automatically mean that a manuscript is free from plagiarism. All manuscripts remain subject to editorial assessment.

6. Review by Three Reviewers
Starting in 2027, manuscripts that pass the initial editorial screening will be reviewed by three independent reviewers with relevant expertise.
The final publication decision will be made by the editorial team based on the reviewers' recommendations and the journal's publication standards.

Important Notice

Manuscripts that do not meet these requirements may be returned to the authors for correction before proceeding to the next stage.
