Jurnal Kepariwisataan: Destinasi, Hospitalitas dan Perjalanan (ISSN 2477-3808; e-ISSN 2721-4753) is a peer-reviewed journal which is published by Politeknik Pariwisata NHI Bandung (PPNHIB) Jurnal Kepariwisataan aims at initiating and stimulating advances in hospitality and tourism research. Therefore, it publishes papers that promote new ideas, models, approaches, and paradigms by contributing to the advances in knowledge and theory of hospitality and tourism.
The journal covers applied research studies and review articles, both in a format of the full-length articles and research notes. Applied research studies are expected to examine relationships among variables relevant to hospitality and tourism by employing appropriate analytical or statistical techniques. High-quality review articles that address the latest advances and develop theoretical knowledge or thinking about key aspects of hospitality and tourism are accepted. Research notes are short articles that report advances in methodology, exploratory research findings or extensions / discussions of prior research. Jurnal Kepariwisataan will also welcome commentary in response to published articles.
All manuscripts submitted to this journal must be written in good English. Authors for whom English is not their native language are encouraged to have their paper checked before submission for grammar and clarity. All papers are subject to a double-blind peer-review process based on an initial screening by the editor criteria for evaluation include a significant contribution to the field, conceptual quality, appropriate methodology and clarity of exposition.
Jurnal Kepariwisataan has been accredited PERINGKAT 3 or SINTA 3 on August 3, 2020, by The Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education (RistekDikti) of The Republic of Indonesia as an achievement for the peer-reviewed journal which has excellent quality in management and publication. The recognition published in Director Decree (SK No. 148/M/KPT/2020) and effective until Volume 9 No 1 2025

Sustainable transportation mode choices in Ciwidey’s National Tourism Strategic Area, providing recommendations for optimized transportation systems in tourism area. Another article explores the link between quality tourism and Sustainable Development Goals through a case study of Uma Uta Tourism Village in NTT Province, Indonesia, emphasizing community empowerment. Further, a study using social networking for developing natural and cultural tourism in Buku Limau Island. For the Destiantion marketing, a study on marketing mix and brand image influence consumer satisfaction and repurchase intention at Kampung Pempek 26 Ilir Palembang. Another article assesses the role of e-WOM, accessibility, and attractiveness in driving revisit intentions to Wediombo Beach, Yogyakarta, mediated by tourist experience. For tourism technology, the application of blockchain technology in the carnival creative industry, highlighting its potential as an empowerment tool in the internet-of-value era. Finally, a case study on leveraging promotion mix strategies to enhance Lombok’s tourism through the efforts of Look Lombok Tour & Travel.
This issue provides a diverse collection of articles addressing key themes in tourism research, including post-pandemic recovery, sustainable transportation, cultural heritage, and technological innovation. The studies underscore the importance of interdisciplinary approaches and global collaboration in advancing tourism practices and achieving Sustainable Development Goals.
Jurnal Kepariwisataan continues to serve as a platform for disseminating impactful research that bridges theory and practice, offering solutions to pressing challenges in the tourism and hospitality sectors.
