Jurnal Kepariwisataan: Destinasi, Hospitalitas, dan Perjalanan Volume 7, Number 1 (2023) features 10 peer-reviewed articles authored by 22 researchers from Indonesia and France, presenting interdisciplinary perspectives on destination development, cultural tourism, hospitality management, tourism education, and community-based tourism. This issue reflects the journal's commitment to advancing research that addresses both emerging challenges and sustainable opportunities in the tourism sector.

The published articles examine a broad spectrum of topics, including ecotourism development strategies for mangrove destinations, the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on tourism education, hotel customer loyalty in the new normal era, and destination life cycle assessment using the Tourism Area Life Cycle (TALC) framework. Other contributions explore the cultural significance of traditional cassava-based cuisine as a tourism attraction, destination attributes influencing tourism village management, community participation in rural tourism development, and the preservation of customary law as a foundation for cultural tourism sustainability.
